Khary Campbell gets the start

Post by TG1996 »

After taking some jabs from a Kent State grad about Joshua Cribbs (after the fumbled punt, so I could give it back), I noticed Khary's mug on the "opening lineups" graphic vs. Indy.

Good Luck Khary!

He's getting picked apart though, maybe some of that is because Manning is so good, but he is being thrown on pretty easily... :(
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

...and sometimes we can just be happy for a BG alum's years of hard work and perserverance paying off into a starting job.

Very true, and he did come back and make a nice play. Sorry to be so negative but it was depressing hearing the commentators calling him out on a huge blown coverage. Let's hope he continues to play better!

So, for those of you with the magical ability to be living in Indiana, did he play better? I would go to some stupid website to look up the stats, but it is the NFL and I could really care less. If it was anyone other than one of our own I wouldn't even ask? :P

Seriously, though. I hope Khary turned it around! :)

I didn't really watch much more than a passing glance of the game. I got the Browns game in, and by the time they were "officially" out of it, I was too busy to watch too much of the Colts.

He didn't play very well. Peyton picked on him and the other LB's all day. He didn't play as bad as he did in the 1st drive, but I can't imagine Joe Gibbs was very happy giving up 5 TD's and a bunch of yards! :(
