In all fairness to CMU, I can understand their complex. They have a lousy university, in a hole-in-the-ground town, with very few attractive women, the attractive women never show any skin during the school year because the weather is so bad....and their football team sucks most years.

After Thursday, my thought was...Even when we were bad, we usually beat CMU.

Give them their moment in the sun. They are in a Cinderella Season, with a handful of football players doing 25 to life. It will be short lived, and we all know it.

Really? Because aside from the Homecoming win in '03 (which was as close as any team we beat got to us that year, I think, or so it felt), CMU has handled us pretty well. Even when we're good, going back to the start of the Blackney era.

(But I do agree with your initial assessment of Mt. Not-So-Pleasant.

No doubt. BGSU and CMU were tied 16-16 in the all time series after 1995...we won 5 straight until Thursday night. 21-17 now. It's always been a pretty even series.

That doesn't excuse the behavior of those people up there. Biggest bunch of aholes in the MAC.
