I just saw a trailer for "We Are Marshall".

Am I the only one who sees a problem with Robert Patrick playing the part of the original football coach at Marshall?

Anyway, Marshall played BG a few times during that era, so maybe the film will have some (albiet small) exposure for us.

why dont you fill the rest of us in on why this is so odd, or should it be obvious to all???

no i dont see a problem with it. He's an actor. Who cares.

Loved him as the coach in The Faculty. Do you think he turns into an alien in this movie about Marshall? I hope so. That would be cool.

Just saw him last nite as the "bad guy" in THE MARINE.....some pretty hokey lines for an actor to have...then I realized that the movie is an offshoot of the crazy wrestling stuff where Vince McMahon is the ultimate bad guy!

Yeah, but under his list of favorite sites it doesn't include AZZ.com or bgsufalcons.com. So he must be come kind of not so loyal former student-athlete.

Somebody ought to e-mail his site and see if they can get him to list either one.
