We lost to BY FAR THE WORST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY! I don't think they're going to hand out the MNC this year based on who had the most yards. This ain't Madden.cowboyjoe wrote:Where was the bad coaching today? Over 400 yards of bad coaching, huh?

Easy. Don't start attacking eachother.mk455 wrote:shut up.cowboyjoe wrote:Kent only beat Temple by 11 and we crushed them yardage wise by 400 + for us and under 250 for them. Don't wave the white flag guys...it just makes you look bad when we play well. Fumble on the goal line and blocked punt and missed field goal.... come on guys are you ready to give up on this team and Brandon? If you are stay off this site! We have 2 losses in the MAC and Ohio is beating Kent by 17-7 score right now... Don't give up...if you hop off the bandwagon then you can't get back on!!!!!!!!!!!!

worst loss ever.....
I think we need to stop focusing on other aspects of the game and work every day on SPECIAL TEAMS!!!!!!!! But than again, I guess this is the first game that our special teams have had HUGE mental lapses (note the sarcasm, dripping.....)

Some of us were making stupid comments in there due to emotion. I was certainly one of those. I don't think anybody in there, including myself, was actually rooting for Temple.BGDrew wrote:And those who were rooting for Temple to win, please leave and never indicate your affiliation to this University ever again.
I wanted BG to win, right down to the end, but at some point you just have to joke about it. The program has become a joke, we're the laughing stock of all of college football now. We may as well have some fun with it.BGGrad01 wrote:Some of us were making stupid comments in there due to emotion. I was certainly one of those. When we start rooting for a man to become unemployed then we need to question if it's really a game.hammb wrote:I wanted BG to win, right down to the end, but at some point you just have to joke about it. Yeah...our team lost a game we never should have lost...let's not become dicks over it.
I'm already a dick so I've been grandfathered in.
One step forward at Ohio...two steps back against CMU and Temple. Frankly, I expected alot more focus than I saw today. We continue to fritter away scoring chances and we continue to give up big scoring plays on early downs. The mental discipine is lacking...that has to be laid in large part at the feet of the coaches.

It is bad coaching when you cannot get your team emotionally ready to play against Temple. This was their homecoming, and you knew they were going to be geeked up to play.cowboyjoe wrote:Where was the bad coaching....seriously? Speak up!!!
We're either outtalented or we were outcoached. We lost by 2 TDs. Now if you're gonna tell me we're outtalented by Temple I'm gonna say that the problem is bigger with Brandon than we could've imagined.
This program is being flushed down the crapper thanks to this coach.
Agreed. I think the big plays is the most frustrating part for me. We seem to control games, but we end up losing by double digits due to 5-7 plays a game. We lose focus and end up losing because of it. Our losses certainly aren't due to a lack of talent.Flipper wrote:We continue to fritter away scoring chances and we continue to give up big scoring plays on early downs.
