MACAttackCat, you are not kidding. The MAC Championship looks like Central Michigan/Western Michigan against Ohio/Kent State this year, four teams certainly not considered traditional powers in the Mid-American Conference. Those teams have sucked, Toledo (1-4), Miami (1-4), even Bowling Green although we are 3-2 in conference and still has an outside shot at the MACC. And Akron really didn't show they were worth the hype this season either.MACAttackCat wrote:Honestly, I thank and congraduate you guys for beating us in Peden. I think it gave OUr team a swift kick in the butt, and got them motivated for the rest of the season.
To say it as plainly as I can: Thisyear, like every other, has been a totally crazy year in the MAC.
I don't know what to expect the rest of the way, much less into 2007. Schizophrenia has clearly taken over this conference.

My thoughts exactly. But what makes me chuckle about all of this is, if memory serves me right, BG didn't even have Temple on their schedule this year. When we shifted our schedule around late to do what as “best for Ohio” and dropped Virginia Tech, BG moved a game with some team, maybe Boise State or something, that allowed us to get Illinois this year. Well, we then get a win vs Illinois, and then BG loses to Temple. How’s that for a helping hand. So yeah, thank you BG! Maybe we'll even let you touch the MAC Championship trophy we get this year for helping us get one by giving us a wakeup call a few weeks ago. You guys really are the best!MACAttackCat wrote:Honestly, I thank and congraduate you guys for beating us in Peden. We have an aptitude for bailing out Rick Chryst's ass, thanks for pointing that out.OhioBobcat wrote:My thoughts exactly. As for that MAC Championship trophy, you guys aren't touching Central Michigan. They're going through this thing undefeated unless they lose at NIU, which won't matter.
Nah, we've already touched it 10 times. But let me know if there are still any kitty prints on it from 1968.OhioBobcat wrote:Maybe we'll even let you touch the MAC Championship trophy we get this year for helping us get one by giving us a wakeup call a few weeks ago. You guys really are the best!
