Yup. If we get sanctioned, have fun watching all of our recruits jump ship and go somewhere else. It IS a big deal.
This would not be an issue if the AD would just bite the bullet and hire a real coach, here’s the formula to solve his attendance issues.
Hire a coach that can recruit and prepares his players = a team that executes = a team that competes = a team that wins = a team that wins the MAC = a team that wins bowl games = new talented recruits = student/fan/alumni support increases = more attendance = sell out games = a stadium full = more televised game = more money.
To solicit alumni and students to buy extra tickets to just to show attendance numbers is a cowardly way to address the big issue of our attendance.

I would have to disagree with your last statement. For an AD that has been on the job for 4 months, he is doing what he can to address the issue currently in front of us......maintaining the 15,000 average. Give him some time on the job and see how he addresses the "big issue of attendance" before you call him cowardly, don't you think?
