Just heard from an athletic board member that the guy who almost has a deal with UNC is going to require some big bucks.

She wouldn't give me a name, and when i started guessing she walked away quietly, so we'll see.

I'll keep you posted if i hear more, but she says from phone call last night, they have this deal set and ready to announce any day.

Butch Davis was reported to be the new UNC head coach in the Plain Dealer today, which means that this has to be patently untrue.
