Not only did I guarantee victory in the chat room during the football game, I also guaranteed victory during "On The Line."

The first wins are always the hardest, and tonight should be a sign of good things to come.

Damn it feels good to be right!

Two points in the bag...

Definitely a better game was played tonight and I thought Spratt did enough to deserve the win. Lake State came out flat and when Pat Inglis relieved Jeff Jakaitis it was over.

Stars:

BGSU: #21 Derek Whitmore
BGSU: #18 Tomas Petruska
BGSU: #11 Jonathan Matsumoto

AWESOME WIN ICERS!

I thought they were going to be swept and I'm very pleased at being wrong about that.

Big win hockey -- gain some momentum going towards the next series. Tonight is exactly what this team needed.

It was a fun game for my first one to attend this year. The whole team played pretty well. The goals Spratt let in were pretty soft, but he played a very good game otherwise, so I cannot fault him for that...he made some big saves at other points in the game.

Great win for the guys.

That was a FUN game to watch!! The guys were flying all over the ice and other than a bit of a lapse in the beginning of the third period, they really had the Lakers back on their heels through most of the game. Fantastic win by the guys tonight, especially for all of the parents who were here tonight for parent weekend!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

good thing they got 1 of the 2 here, which was what i expected. Unfortunately by looking at the next couple weekends I think another 4 game losing skid is in the works. By the way how did ND get so good out of nowhere.

Yeah our pal Wes O'Neil is in his senior for the Irish. I don't think ND comes to the ice arena till February though.
