Why don't you "players" resolve your identities to each other via PM's? We don't really need to read about it.

I dont really want to talk about other people on here I was going to maybe name the words to the sweep song but those are not appropriate for this chat room, so go ahead, you or bigdog, ask me anything and i will prove it to you.
I would love to know what that song is about and what it entails :D You can pm it to me if I'm allowed to know. I know teams have certain things that are for them and no one else, but if this is something I can learn about, I'd really like to know. If it really is too vulgar you can pm it to me!
Yeah right girl!

Let's just say it is not suitable for print, of any kind. And I'm pretty sure it's for team members only.

P.S. I have heard the song but not enough to be able to recite it from memory. It's been around a long time.

The Strength coach quit because he got a job that pays him 3 times what he was making at BGSU. He is now a medical equipment sales Rep.
But that of course would not be why he quite would it, it has to be the coaches and he instead then also choose to lie to me while my daughter and his nice were at skating lessons.
Keep on venting and eventually you might see the truth, in that while coach is not god and he has flaws (one of his flaws not being he is a bad coach) that you also are not perfect ( that your not a bad player is not a flaw and I do smack at you unfairly at times) and that at times the relationships between players and coach go south, because both parties have issues. Anyway a professional development coach would help work through this, and I think it would really help you a lot.

Please stop Macman, Please stop. You know only bits and pieces of what the real truth is. It is true that the strength coach left becuase he found a job that paid him much more than he was making at BG.
The part that you are missing is that Matty was a man that if you worked hard for him and were loyal to him then he would do anything for you. This includes staying in a position and making far less money. I could go into specifics becuase I along with others talked to him many times about issues at BG. I will not share any of this with you people becuase I have to much respect for Matty to share anything without his consent. During the last days, I saw Matty close to tears about leaving and for a man of his character those times I am sure don't come aournd very often. Please Macman, stop, you really don't know the whole story. Don't sit on here and preach things with only part of the info. Only a select few were able to sit with Matty and talk to him behind close doors and talk about true feelings.

MACMAN, there was nothing wrong with your post until you started pushing the issue. There are two sides to every argument. What you were told by Matt, as a relative outsider to the program, may have and probably was different then what was said to those IN the program that worked closest with him.

My guess is that it was a mixture of both. Money is a strong motivator....it's an even stronger motivator if there are issues with your current job.

He didn't lie to you he just didn't give you the whole story. The question is what made him go looking for another job? You don't go looking, if you are happy at the job you are at....

Bigdog, I believe every single word of THIS post. That said, I also think you are missing the real point. Matty is a great guy, and he did a fine job while at BG. Sadly, our athletic budget could not compete with his potential earnings in sales. No matter HOW wonderful a guy he is, it's awfully naive for you to think he could stay here for 35k when he can earn three, four, maybe five times that selling medical equipment. There may well come a time in your life when you'll have to leave a low paying job that you really love to take more money doing something else. Lucky for you, you have not yet had to face such a dilema...wait 'till you are married, have a couple of kids and a mortgage...you'll understand then.

I am not saying that the increase in money didn't urge him to move occupations. I mean not many people could have turned that down. I do however think that if a little respect was flowed his way by Pooch the decision would not have been so easy.
