also as an aside, I was listening to Beamers call in show on Monday night, and he was talking about Kent State and kept referring to the "MAC Conference"...I know that irks many people here
Would anyone in the MAC ever do this?

It doesn't bother me. It's hard to be bothered by it when your own coaches refer to it as the MACC.BGSUVA wrote:and kept referring to the "MAC Conference"...I know that irks many people here
And the Mac probably wouldn't do that.

GOOD FOR BOISE STATE!!!!! They are successful, and give a damn about their fans. I wish the MAC would do the same but Cleveland seems to enjoy the "bent over" position when it comes to TV coverage.

Although I never really see it happening, I would love to see a MAC School hand it to ESPN as well as the MAC Corporate guys in saying no to a game change, whether it's time or day. Even though we are a "small" conference I think we should stand up for our own schools and our fans in keeping originally scheduled times and dates. Screw publicity, we need to keep original dates and times in order to keep our fans showing up. I realize that there are more than just a couple of you guys that are hardcore fans that will show up to a game no matter when it is.

There isn't a team in the MAC that draws as well as Boise does. They can make any money off exposure just off tickets sold.
And if they win out and make a BCS the game would be on Fox instead of ABC which is a double middle finger to Disney.
