Here's the official word on next season's games...
- Boise is coming to BG next year. When the athletic office checked on contracts when Christopher was hired, they were still in. No phone call has come to the office from Idaho, so no changes have been made at this time.
- FIU does not want out of the contract to come to BGSU. For some odd reason, they want to move their game with BG closer to the end of the year. From what I understood, they are playing a series with Miami and they wanted to move that to the beginning of the year, right where they are playing BG. Their AD wants to capatilize on the fight that the two schools were in this year, lol. So, there are things in the works to fix that.
Also, we all know that the MAC always waits until the last minute to decide on conference games for one reason or another. TV contracts, OOC games to fit other's schedules, etc. They haven't seemed to go out on a limb and force anyone else to adapt to them yet...but obviously they are pretty low on the totem (spelling?) pole.
Possible replacement for FIU...

Maybe we can make them a deal... we'll move the game, but it has to be scheduled for the week after they play Miami. More publicity for us when ESPN, etc. are talking about "will miss next week's game with Bowling Green for his part in the brawl."Falconfreak90 wrote:That sounds a whole lot better! FIU wants to play late in the year? Sure! Bring them up to NW Ohio in NOVEMBER.Please tell them to leave their brass knuckles at home.
"I don't believe I can name a coach, anywhere, anytime, anyhow, who did it better than Doyt Perry."
