Not to jinx it, but...
Attendance is looking good tonight. An article in the BGNews has Christopher saying that there is about 18,000 in Ticket sales as of yesterday morning. Hopefully those have increased over the last 24hrs as well. A good student turnout should get us over. I think 3-4k students shouldn't be a problem.
Sure wish I was able to make the drive up, but I guess I'll have to settle for trying to win a door prize at tonights Watch party.

Yeah -- this is going to be one of those games where you read the attendance number and go: "No f***ing way".
Probably 23k paid attendance, maybe half that in the stands.
Roll Along!
Given the weather forecast, I think 11,500 would be great. I think the students will turn out in good numbers, but I think a high percentage of those giveaways will go unused due to the weather.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:orangeandbrown wrote:I hope we have a good crowd. I'll be there even with a monsoon. 2 1/2 hours until I get out of here and start on the way to BG!!
Yeah, the weather certainly hasn't been on our side either this year, especially at our home games (including Cleveland). The Wisconsin game had the remains of the hurricane, the Buffalo game had the storms and stadium evacuations, the Kent State & Eastern Michigan games were gloomy, and it looks like we’re now going to cap it off tonight with a steady rain.BGGrad01 wrote:Given the weather forecast, I think 11,500 would be great. It really does feel like I should be at the game today. Out of the 5 games I have been to this year, there was 1 where it wasn't rainy. Both the Wisconsin and Kent games were pretty crummy. EMU was nice, (a little cold for having an 18mo old out but otherwise nice). UKvsCMU, pouring rain for tailgating, and UKvsVandy, rainy and cold most of the morning, although the rain stayed away for the game.

You and I are on the same wavelength! I get outta here in 1 hour, will pick up Josh from school and then high tail it to BG. Rain, snow, sleet, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, monsoon, avalanche, mudslide, falling rock....NOTHING will keep me from the Doyt. I only have one BG poncho so I hope the bookstore tent will have them. I need another one.
Get the day going!!! LET'S GO FALCONS!!! BEAT MIAMI!

The BGNews is making a huge push for student attendance this evening. There are quotes from coaches and the athletic directors urging students to come out tonight. There is a front page article and two or three more articles in the paper on the subject today. Makes me happy to see this much effort from the student paper. Every residence hall is holding special events to take entire halls to the game tonight. Dining hall staff is wearing "you going to the game?" pins on their shirts. I think students may show up in a big way, especially since it isn't raining yet, and it really isn't very cold out here.
Yeah right girl!

I'm out the door and headed to BG. Probably not as much outdoor tailgating, but BWs or Frickers will be happy to see me.

Freak, I have an extra one, and I may have two more extras (I bought a few at the beginning of the season - and they have come in very handy! Don't worry about buying one, I'll see you at the tailgate.Falconfreak90 wrote: I only have one BG poncho so I hope the bookstore tent will have them. I need another one.
