...I am sure of one thing - and it truly does pain me to no end to say this about a very good guy and a fellow alum - Stud has to be relieved of his coordinating duties. Period. As I was saying to It's the Journey after the game tonight, we aren't running a spread offense, we aren't running a pistol offense, and we aren't running any other recognizable offensive system. We are running a clusterf**k offense, and that falls squarely on the shoulders of the man implementing the offensive scheme and calling the plays. I believe that Brandon deserves another year (I honestly don't know why), but even if just for his own pride, a change needs to be made at OC. I applauded Brandon for studying and implementing the pistol into our offense this year, and I still do. I just don't believe that anything has been implemented competantly on that side of the ball.
And I must say this, too: our defense has been HUGE this year playing well while the offense goes three and out on quarterback draws. They don't get nearly enough credit for how far they have come this year, and I think a lot of that is because of the pressure put on them by the complete breakdown of our once powerful and effective offense.
I am honestly so very sorry Stud. It really isn't personal, but I think it needs to be said. It has been easy during this season to fault youth and an injured quarterback for our offensive woes, but as our offensive play calling and execution has grown more and more inept and ineffective as the season has worn on, it is becoming pretty clear to me that the offensive leadership is flailing.
God, I feel like sh*t now.

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~
