Fan in a jam

Late Tuesday night 11/23 I have to get on the train in Toledo and head back to NY for Thanksgiving...so I figure I might as well drop by the A$$ Bowl on my way home for the game rather than watch it on TV. Problem is all of my friends are probably headin home Monday or Tuesday afternoon...leavin me by myself.

I'd like to meet some of the other people on this site....and need some people to sit with at the game. I assume plenty of you will be there...? I know it's early yet but I'd like any info you guys have on when you're gettin up to UT and if/when your tailgating and stuff like that. It's bad enough to have to watch a game at UT....let alone be there by myself!!!

Also, if anybody has a ticket they know they aren't going to use yet and want to unload it....I'll take it off your hands. Otherwise I'll just order one from UT's site. I have yet to experience a BG-UT football game in person yet...I was back home during break for it last year.

NY BG Fan...

I took a half day vacation and a full day (11/23 & 11/24) to celebrate another victory over the hated rockettes. I might have an extra ticket for the game. I was gonna head over after my 1/2 day and should be in town by 3:30. Last time BG played at the No Class Bowl, we parked a few blocks away from the place so we could tailgate and toss the football....man was it C O L D!!

I know there will be a good # of BG fans heading up to the game.
As it gets nearer, PM me and I'll make sure you have some company...even if I don't have an extra ticket. There is no way this Feathered brother will let another BG fan sit alone in that place!!!

I haven't missed the BG/rockettes game since 1996....

ill be camped at my future alma matter clothed in orange all day tuesday, and probably monday night b4 it even. Last time I was int eh endzone, since i use my student pass and have no real seat, i go with the BG crowd. Jsut look for BG flags, you will be welcomed by any you see im sure. Grant will have the AZZ.com flag im sure, so you can find ppl fromt eh site even easier.

Order your ticket(s) from the BGSU ticket office, and you will be in the BG section........It is really pretty simple.

I hope my dad's friend got our seats through BG. He's a Falcon Club member, so I'm sure he did, but if I have to sit in a sea of blue and gold, I might get sick.

Oh, and from what I understand, someone might have to take up the AZZ.com flag and wave it proudly in someone's absence. Just like the ending scene in "Glory".

I don't know what time I'm getting up there or anything, but I hope to have some good brown and orange tailgating time in before the beating commences!

Yeah, I'll happily send it with whomever will wave it proudly and protect it so that it returns safely home afterwards.
