Did we get the attendance?

Post by Falcon52 »

Not in fans obviously but in tickets sales?

If not, can I get my $140 back for the 20 seats I bought?

Not that is counts, but the box score number was 25,616.

In case you missed it, there is an announcement on bgsufalcons.com that there was enough tickets sold to put us over the 15,000 average attendance mark.

The Blade reports also reports that we made the 15000 average. 22774 in sold tickets, plus another 2,946 students came. It appears that for once the box score number was right  In the end, the average for this year was 15,605.

Blade article

In other news, Lou Holtz did help raise 15,000$ for the Sebo center, with 420 people attending.

Take that, NCAA snobs!

I was itching for a lawsuit, but being over 15K is good enough for me.

There was a lot more than 3,000 students there at the beginning of the game. The student body turned out in a big way for the first half.
Yeah right girl!

And then trickled out after the first, and then left in droves at halftime.

Yes, the students did leave in droves at halftime. I ventured out to watch the band at halftime, watched a LOT of students stream back towards the dorms. Were it not for the kindness of a couple AZZ membe (you know who you are and I can't thank you enough!), I probably would have done the same. That was by far the worst weather that I have experienced at a football game ever. I am the first to get pi**ed when students leave at halftime to watch the Aggies on TV, but I can't fault a single one of them for skipping out on that argument for global warming that we all experienced last night!

Is that why they were there dressed in red and gray, trying to start an oh-io chant?
