And sounding pretty good too on TV. A handful of good shots too, esp. before Halftime on the sideline. Good closeup shot of our own FMBFan07.

I was at the game sat right in front of FMB. I was actually disappointed with the lack of playing that you guys did. I know we wern't doing so hot in the first half so i'll give you that. But its the bands job to get us goin and pump us up & i know playin GO BG and AZZ repeatedly over and over again can only be pleasing a few times. I know a few members and they say the director just wasn't in the playing mood or somthing...and i know how that goes< sometimes the director wants to play very little sometimes every five seconds. But i believe in a game of that magnitude alot more could have been done

on another note ...good half-time, you showed the RMB up, especially since you dont have to use pyrotechnics to make you sound good.

i noticed we didn't play alot, but i think we only allowed to play when we had the ball, and no announcements. so it seemed like there wasn't alot of time for us to play. Sometimes Toledo's band would play when we had the ball, and we wouldn't play over them. so it limited our playing time.

We were definately handcuffed by ESPN and slUT. At least that's what the grads told me. We had to be gracious guests, and Dr. Hayward is very good at being the classy director, and making sure we are the classy band. I always wish we would playy more, especially at the Doyt. It sucks having our own athletic department tie our hands behind our backs.
Yeah right girl!

I know high school bands that play Bon Jovi too. They are also capable of doing formations other than moving large blocks back and forth...

lol

Nice try! High School bands didn't sound like that. I love the whole "it was easy because it was bon jovi" lie UT people keep telling themselves.

However, I have heard high schools bands out of sync, out of tune and incapable of marching a company front in a straight line.

At least UT's band was loud

edit - i don't want to sound too disparaging. I liked watching UT's band, and I am not trying to be mean. They were better than Wisconsin.
