Rick Telander blog post w/ BGSU ties
ESPN.com stuff. Lots of you on here know Andrew... pretty cool for them to get noticed like this. Look for lots more from their "obsession" in the future!

If any of you are off today, or have access to a TV at around 11 or 11:30 (not sure when it's on) my friend Andrew and his buddy Dave will be on "Cold Pizza" on ESPN2 talking about their hoops tour project and presumably some about BGSU.
Tonight they're going to the Duke/Gonzaga game at Madison Square Garden and will be interviewed during that broadcast too. I think that game tips at 9 on ESPN.
If any of you TiVo people get the opportunity to grab Cold Pizza and dump it out to a DVD, I'd love to have a copy!

Wow, you can do that? Can you tell your dishwasher to run from work as well??? Seriously, I didn't know that was an option with Tivo, very cool!jacojdm wrote:I just set my TiVo (from my desk at work) to record the noon showing. If I call her on the phone, then, yes, I can tell my dishwasher to work. That doesn't mean that she'll do it, though.Dayons_Den wrote:Wow, you can do that? Can you tell your dishwasher to run from work as well??? Seriously, I didn't know that was an option with Tivo, very cool!
Seriously, though, yes, you can program the TiVo from anywhere. I have mine on my home network, so it gets updates frequently. If the TiVo is setup to receive its updates over the phone line, then, that only happens once a day, and there's a pretty good chance that any programs that are scheduled from the website to record the same day won't.

Very nice job by the guys on Cold Pizza. They mentioned they hope to produce a book from their travels that will include interviews with the coaches and etc . . . And how they met Jay Bilas in the Ville and how he has really helped them out along the way.
Best moment was a weekend where they met Roy Williams, Dean Smith and Coach K on three consecutive days.
Jay mentioned Andrew's "fine choice in choosing a college" but that was it about BG

The replay is on again right now, 12p-2p. What time about did their bit come on?swinger5 wrote:Wow, I totally missed Cold Pizza. If anyone did tape it, let me know. I really would like to see it.

That would be why you'd buy the book...Globetrotter wrote:i am confused....How do they get in to talk to these guys. If they call Dean smith what do they say...Hey can we talk to you for ten minutes...And what do they ask him?

Yeah, I tried to get cute with the TiVo and missed it. Jumping in and around Skip Bayless running his mouth and whatever other trash they rolled down the line, I skipped past Andrew's segment. Oops!
