Fair enough, that's all I've ever wanted to hear from other students.

As tired as I am of this "what makes a fan" argument, I'd take a dual-team fan over a second-half fan any day of the week.

Anyhow, it's hard for me to make any decisions about this team as I have yet to make it to a game, and gametracker and radio only show so much. We'll see if I swing through for a game and then I'll pipe up a bit more.

It's been a rough several weeks for the Falcon faithful. Both men's and women's hoops teams are playing well right now. Things may change and we can go back to killing the coaches, players etc. Enjoy the moment...this is two buzzer beaters in a row for a very young team!

I find it interesting to listen to the bashers after this game. I think many fans are failing to see that BG just won a game in which the opponent played a zone defense the entire game. As many well read BG fans know, BG normally plays lousy against a zone. Opponents know this and Troy was the first to do it an entire game. Oh, and we won.

For those claiming that the offense today was boring and ineffective, I enjoyed the fact that we were actually penetrating (yes, I said penetrating) and moving the ball at an amazing pace. Guards were driving and kicking it back out. We actually had break away dunks.

So for the naysayers out there, I am sorry you were disappointed, but I truly think that you are probably disappointed with most things in life.

Did anyone see the BG won today against a zone?

Not much to bash when this team wins a game. It's not like we're expected to dominate these teams and blow people out. The line was between 2 and 5 and we won by 2 in very exciting fashion. Tough to complain after this game.

Today, I'm a BG fan and a UCLA fan.

I agree 110%. I was walking in the door after the win and all I could think about was how much the fans (or whatever they're calling themselves these days) would be saying "Well it doesn't matter, they still suck, fire DD, who cares about the shot, etc. etc. etc." Biggest bunch of crap ever.

Yeah, I saw. I'm not a basher. I thought we have played well the last two games, and both days were good days to be Falcon fans. There is a long way to go, but I hope we are on the comeback trail.

Until the final two minutes, we also handled the press and trap better than we have recently as well. We are much improved.

I'm just about sick of all this crap. I'm seriously considering just shutting this site down for good...

Life is too short people... too many other things are important. Watch games, have fun, enjoy life. Don't bitch and moan about EVERY and ANYTHING.

This once good thing is really nothing more than a bitch-fest anymore...

Sorry to keep rehashing, but thanks E. Can't wait to see you at AA and have someone to sing Beer Barrel with after a game, right now no one but me stans down there and sings with the band.

One more thing, if anyone here ever questions, or has questioned my orange and brown faith, then I cordially invite you to stop by my dorm and see for yourself where my allegiences lie.
Yeah right girl!

Agreed. Although I'd hate to see it shut down permenantly, I'd understand. Given what's going on in the hockey forum, It's the same bitch-fest. Unfortunately, in that forum, there is a LOT to bitch about right now. :( If you do shut it down, it would be a REALLY sad statement on the BG fans. We had always prided ourselves on what a great site this is, that it's not the trash talking sites of other schools. So what have we become? We have became the one thing we criticize other sites for. Shame on us....,not ALL of us, but many of us.

And you're right Grant, life's way too short.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
