ANY win is a good win and I'll take one any way we can get one. Very nice to see us pretty much control this one throughout. We've won three games in a row, it's been about a year since we could last say that. We need to finish up this homestand strong with Central Arkansas on Saturday. GO BG!!!

All the AZZ-hats in chat are telling the late comers that we lost by 45 and that Samarco punched a fan. Don't let them fool you! ;)

That was perhaps the funniest thing ever. :-D

Great win tonight. The way we controlled this game tonight, I think it shows that this team is maturing in was that they haven't over the past couple of years. Here's to No. 4 on Saturday! :partyman:

I'm just glad Samarco really didn't punch any fans...

Hamblet's line tonight was pretty solid - 12 points, 8 boards, 7 assists, 2 blocks, and 4-5 on 3's with only 3 turnovers. I hope that he can continue his solid play throughout this season. For those that were at the game, was he as solid as his line would indicate?

23 assists tonight for the team. Not sure how many total field goals that we had, but that is a probably a very high percentage of assists to FG makes, even if the statisticians are a little generous.

The box score listed attendance at roughly 1,700. Against USA attendance was about 1,100 and against Troy it was 1,400. Hopefully this team can continue to improve and the community and students will get behind them. It would be great to see and hear Anderson Arena rocking again.

Yeah, I think they meant Triplett from Toledo when he punched his female landlord in the middle of the night his senior year. Proud to be a Rocket fan, heh?

It was a good, relatively easy, win. Our defense was lax, but the offense looked pretty good.

The group is starting to actually look like a team. Oh, and BTW, Dusan is starting to look competent as a player too. He's no star, but I can see why Dakich likes him. He's among the least athletic players I've ever seen in my life, but he clearly knows what he's doing on a basketball court. He's a competent passer, and does a good job against the zone. He's even starting to get his shots to fall sometimes.

He'll never be a prolific scorer, his release is just way too slow, but he might give ya 5-10 points a game, and that's got some value to it. I think he might play too many minutes, but at this point Marschall fouls a ton & Sullivan looks lost...who else is going to take those minutes? I expect we'll see less of him once Miller is ready to go.

All in all, a good game for the guys, another nice win.

Very solid effort, the team was soft on defense at times but run the offense very well. Down side of tonight is Marschall hurt his foot late in the first half, he had 14 first half points! Didn't play one minute in the second half. I think they are going to x-ray his foot tonight. Let's hope it's bruised and not broken.

Revenge is always sweet. All we can ask is that the team just keeps improving all the way to hopefully making a run in Cleveland. It's starting to look like we might even be a factor in the regular season, which would be an awesome surprise.

Dusan has an excellent chance to be a role player that contributes. He tends to make the pass before the pass before the basket.

Maybe he should look into hockey :)

Glad to hear he's looking more and more comfortable.
