A couple of pretty cool quotes from Nutt:

Arkansas State Coach Dickey Nutt

"First of all I give them a lot of credit. Now you know why we were really happy about the win over this team in Jonesboro. This is just an outstanding program. If you look around its easy to see what we had to face tonight in this outstanding team - they are very solid."

"Obviously, I was worried about coming in with the energy level and it certainly showed in the first half. But I thought they really did a go job of not letting go of the rope in the second half. They played well and played hard."

Do you have to be named Nutt to coach in Arkansas?

What parents in their right mind would name their kid Richard Nutt? Dickie Nutt

This is exactly why the "make fun of the coach" threads that have become so great in the football forum need to make their way over here. We could have had so much fun with this one if I was paying attention...

And with that...

Does he call his house the Nutt Hutt?

Hmmmm...we're playing well. I'll have to make the trek down and take in a game. Are tickets hard to come by?

The football banquet starts at 5:30 Saturday. I just told Mrs. Freak Josh and I will be leaving her parents house at 12-12:30 and going to the hoops game. I love it when a plan comes together like this. I need to see this team in action and I'm excited to get to The House That Roars this weekend. This team just may be much better than anyone thought.

Great win fellas...keep it up!

Did someone say that they would eat a bug if we did not win 10 games or vice versa?

I said I'd eat a bug if we did not win 10 games, yes. How may I help you?

I'll eat Arby's washed down with diet Mountain Dew if we don't win 10 games. I've caught some of the games on BCSN...this is a better team than last year. The talent level is higher, they're more athletic and they seem to be more in tune with the coach.
