LSU should beat them, they have a much better team. In fact I think talent wise LSU might have the best team in the nation! But ole Charlie is going to try his hardest to pull out another win in a game that they're over matched!

When was the first one?
Last year- Michigan, Tennessee, Pittsburgh and damn near USC

This year- Penn St, GT, and possibley UCLA.. at least defensively, and we all know that a team w/ a great O is supposed to lose to a team w/ a great D.
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Last year: Notre Dame's record -- 9-3

Michigan -- 7-5
Tennessee -- 5-6
Pitt -- 5-6

This year: Notre Dame's record -- 10-2

Penn St -- 8-4
GT -- 9-4
UCLA -- 7-5

Still waiting. Chuckie is 0-4 (0-5 a month from now) against Elite teams, and 3 of those were woodshed affairs.

Oh yeah, I forgot that ND played Georgia Tech this year. So they beat one decent team. Barely. Getting skunked by the two other decent teams you played does not a BCS team make.

If they really want Notre Dame to join a conference, they're gonna have to quit handing them azz loads of money every year. They get BCS bids every year it seems, even when they aren't anything spectacular. They're gonna stay where they are until the money runs dry.
Yeah right girl!

When you beat a team during the season your most likely going to have a better final record than them...

By the way your calculating you make it sound like it would have been better to lose to those teams they should beat that way you have an overall worse record and then upset the good teams... That's no way to play football!

Weis hasn't lost a game to a team that they should have beaten other than MSU, and yes Michigan, Tenn, Pitt, USC, GT, PSU, and defensively UCLA all way better talent than ND. Therefore Weis outcoached them or the players outplayed them. So I think that makes you 0 for big games, especially if you don't think Weis hasnt completely turned that program around!

Also going by this logic Jim Tressel is 0 for this season and all of last? When is the last time Ohio State beat a team that finished with a better record than them at the end of the season? Oh wait it hasn't happend cause they beat everyone. But by your logic that makes Tressel a bad coach. Just using this as an example, it would work for any team in the top 10.

Exactly, over matched. Aka the other team has a lot better players than them. Not the other team has a better win-loss record at the end of the season.

Penn St., GaTech, and UCLA are a lot more talented than ND this year? Man, they suck worse than I thought.

The best thing Notre Dame could do is accept a no-name bowl. Otherwise their losing streak in bowl games is going keep on going. It is apparent that they are always overrated and playing in bowl games that they do not belong in, because they get killed in every bowl game they play in. They played two elite teams this season and got spanked both times. They play one more elite team. I wonder what is going to happen.

Yes, Yes, and Yes defensively.. No offensively! Yes, they do suck more than you thought. Maybe if you actually watched all of their games and evaluated their talent in a sane manner, instead of instilling your bias and looking at the hodge-podge stats like final records, you could have come to this conclusion a lot earlier!

They will lose to LSU no doubt about it. LSU is WAAYYYYYYY more talented in every phase of the game, especially SPEED! But then again Charlie Weis is a great coach, and LSU is capable of playing like a bunch of individuals. I'll be taking LSU to cover again.

i still dont think weiss can be considered a great coach until he wins something and is actually playing with his recruits. he might be and might not be a great coach, only time well tell but it's to early to say that he is a great coach.

Ok, I believe that is a fair evaluation. Especially since he hasn't gotten to play with his recruits yet... but if he continues with 10 win seasons, BCS bowl berths, and high graduation rates as he has done so far then I would think you should consider him a great coach!
