20 Questions with Sinkewich
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

That's neat to hear!! thanks!dannyk wrote:He played high school for St. Edward's in Cleveland. The Holzinger brothers and Harkins brothers would periodically go around to Cleve HS teams and help out during HS practices during the hoidays or when they had breaks in their playing schedules

You have to love answers such as these....
Why did you choose to go to your school? Bowling Green is close to home and I wanted to play for a gritty, hardworking program that competes every night.
Pre-game ritual: First and foremost, I've got to bed down mid-day on a game day. Next, I always like to get to the barn a few hours before warm up to tape my twigs and sit around and visualize what I need to do to help my program that night.
Training Regimen: I take a lot of pride in my off-season regimen. I stay at school year round to improve my speed, strength and agility. I never let myself become satisfied.
Greatest lessons you've learned playing hockey: The game of hockey has taught me everything I know today. One lesson in particular is that you need to be driven to succeed and to never let yourself be satisfied.

Not based in reality...
Whoever came up with these responses makes the kid sound like he is still 3 years old.

Easy there FalconBlue. You know these kids are trained from birth to give the p.c. answers. What would you have expected him to say?FalconBlue wrote:Whoever came up with these responses makes the kid sound like he is still 3 years old.
Maybe something like:
Why did you choose BG: "They have a crummy program, so I figured I'd get lots of ice time."
Pregame ritual: "I drink lots of water to sober up from the night before."
Training regimen: "One puck bunny a night right before bed."
Greatest lesson learned playing hockey: "When in doubt, blame the coach"
