It sounded like they really did play well, other than a few costly penalties. And Spratt played VERY well, unfortunately so did their goalie. And scoring first is HUGE, as is getting two more goals after being down 4-1!! Small steps lead to bigger ones!!!! YAY!!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Give us some insight as to what it's like to fly all the way up there and play. What's the toughest part of the whole trip? I am thrilled that the guys get time off after this trip. Usually we come back to play MSU or UM and we have barely recovered from it.bigdog wrote:I agree that it way better than the other games we have been a part of lately. I also agree that Alaska is a very hard place to play with the tavelling and such. But it is still a loss, hopefully they can overcome it tonight.

It is good that they will get some time off from hockey to rest and recover, but it is a bummer that they have exam week immediately after the Alaska road trip. Sleep will truly be at a minimum. Good luck on finals fellas.Falcon Fanatic wrote:Give us some insight as to what it's like to fly all the way up there and play. What's the toughest part of the whole trip?
