Saturday vs. Alaska

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

2-0 at the end of the first. BG is AHEAD!!! Goals by Svendsen and McIllrath unassisted!! Playing well, playing hard!!!

GO ICERS!!!!
WIN THIS GAME!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

FF, this thread is positive, so I must ask you to cease and desist immediately. Thanks. :-D

4-2 at the second int. We got burned late in the period on penalties. Hopefully the boys can turn that around in the third and bring home the elusive W!

GO FALCONS!!!

Holy Sheboygan! Thank god for a win. Now I don’t consider myself a fair-weather fan, but with so many L’s in a row, I’ve been finding it harder and harder to get excited about games. While I still support our team and come in hoping for a win, I have been expecting a loss no mater who we seem to be playing. I don’t like to feel that way, so maybe another win or two in the near future will change my expectations in games to come.

Congrats to the team. I went out tonight so I didn't get to hear the game. It looks like we played well and I'm sure the guys are excited to get back tonight to get ready for Finals and the OHC.

Roll Along!

I take Full Responsibilty for the nine straight losses.

My having been in the chat room and trying to follow all the games has lead to the demise of the team. However, this past weekend I have not been able to listen to the game or chat and the team does great Friday night, then pastes a L on UAF.

So in connecting the dots, all preliminary indicators point to my interest in the team

Actually, I think it's all my fault! I always wear orange nail polish during the hockey season, but changed to red on Friday afternoon, just for the holidays!!! :-D

Don't do the orange nail polish. I did for the football season and it didn't work out too well (granted I wore it for the games we did win and the games we lost).
GO FALCONS!!

I feel I must share in the responsibility as well... I fell asleep before the start of the game for the first time ever.

Apparently I'm going to have to start doing this from now on, which I have no problem with, although my employer might on game nights! :)
