After FIU's troubles this year, I would pose no opposition to getting rid of them. Futhermore, if the team does come out strong next year, I think Navy will make us look better than FIU.

FIU and Miami announced that they're playing (as scheduled) Oct. 6.

No mention of BG, but it doesn't look like it would affect us in the ways that were mentioned earlier. (FIU/Miami moving their game up much earlier in the season, bumping our game back or gone.)

Um...may I ask who's Roger Williams? Is he a new '07 recruit , a transfer or what? Havent' heard that name before.

When does the official schedule come out, or is it not a final date type of deal, just whenever they finish it?

I think it's late spring, though maybe it's a little earlier than that. Seems like we were close to the spring game last year when the MAC boned us.

Added:
The MAC finalized schedules in early April last year. The Boise State announcement came on Feb. 28.

The MAC is always the last conference to commit to a schedule. At least for the last several years.
