Northern Colorado Game
I thought those that were in chat listening to the women's game said Brandon was at the game in Cancun. Maybe I misunderstood.Warthog wrote:I forgot about that DD. Wonder if he attended the game, and if so, who he rooted for.

No, they just kept playing Brandon's spot on 88.1, and every time they did, Duke went on a run. The man's just plain bad newsTG1996 wrote:I thought those that were in chat listening to the women's game said Brandon was at the game in Cancun. What I didn’t understand about Bland was he waited on the bench for 8 games to get some good playing time. He finally gets in, does well, then asked the coach to take him out after about 5 minutes because he was tired.
But then the real shocker came when coach put him back in the second half.
If I was DD and a player asked to be taken out after a few minutes of playing, without being hurt, they would not only sit for the rest of the game. But they would not get back in any game for a long time.

Why punish a guy for being honest? Would you rather have him out on the floor knowing he is tired but unable to admit it for fear of being benched?kollege stewdent wrote:What I didn’t understand about Bland was he waited on the bench for 8 games to get some good playing time. I understand your point, but who's to say Bland wasn't getting over a cold or something that made him get tired quickly.

One thing that may have made him tire quickly is that he.....has not played in games. He probably went nuts when he got it and then ran himself dry.Dayons_Den wrote:Why punish a guy for being honest?
