Gentlemen (and ladies), you have a wonderful opportunity

to do something fantastic for both your program and the entire conference.

Beat Marshall. It's that simple. Send them to CUSA without a trip to our title game and without a bowl game. Do it.

No matter who wins the West, you will be doing the entire conference a great service, and at the same time will be placing yourself in a fantastic position for a bowl game of your own (and yes, keep alive your MAC West title hopes).

The conference is relying on you. And don't make it close - blow them out. Score until you can't score anymore. Omar's arm should be hanging by his side after the game. Suisham's leg should be so sore that he won't be able to walk.

We're counting on you. And on November 13th, I will even wear orange and brown - but only for those three and a half hours.

Should you write Akron a thank you note, or shall I? I shall greatly enjoy BG Delivering the knockout blow.

Unfortunately, our thank you note was delivered to Akron in person in the form of a 49-19 victory, but they've apparently gotten over that.

I'm with Huskie Dan! Send these packing to CUSA this weekend. There is no doubt in my mind that BG can do it.

BTW, congrats on the huge victory yesterday. This is the best BG team I've ever seen. I hope the Falcons can pick up a bowl bid down the road.

Thanks BroncoMD....it's obvious WMU has quit on Darnell and that is tough for WMU fans to accept. Just a few short years ago, WMU was a feared team...very physical. I think Darnell is done.

What about WMU in hoops this yr? What do you guys have cooking?

And GO FALCONS!! BEAT MARSHALL!

I would love to see BGSU hang 52 points on Marshall......IN BOTH HALVES!

I will love seeing their fans stay home, fearing a trip to somebody else's stadium for a change.

I don't care if its a blowout or a 1 point win. Finishing off a wounded animal is often hard and dangrous work. Marshall is full of cheap-shot artists, and their players aren't classy or disiplined enough to not give that extra push to a QB running out of bounds. Their honor, such as it is, is being challenged, and that can motivate teams.

We have high expectations for our team, and we should. I hope the team feels the desire to put these guys down as much as the rest of us want them to do it. I hope they come out, excited, geeked up, but also deadly focused on simply kicking their butts hard. Worry about the score later, just grab them by the nose and kick them in the arse.

Yeah, I think Darnell's time with WMU is pretty much over. Hopefully the administration can buy him out of his contract.

We should be solid in hoops once again this year. We had a solid recruiting class that should help. However, Toledo is looking good with all of their starters returning.
