Akron
Akron has won 6 games in a row, albeit against horrid competition. They've already surpassed their win total from a year ago, but against one of the worst schedules in the country.
Miller had nothing but glowing praise for Akron's coach so I have no doubt he'll have the team ready to go in and get a win.
74-57 BG

J4H,
You coming down for the game?? If not, we'll see you Sat at AA for Buffalo. All the Freaks will be At Akron, loud and proud. Akron is improving but I think BG will take this one by 20+.
BG 80, Akron 58..
Man I love these 10 min road trips.
BTW, BG leads the all time series with Akron 35-2.
GO FALCONS!!!

S&B jackets are taking over the world! The Niz wrote:The way I see it, the more people who have them the better. I saw yours at the game Sunday and was jealous. The girlfriend had bought me one for xmas already so I'm glad I didn't decide to go get one right after the game like I was planning. Great game that day by the way.

Smoked 'em -- 61-32. Lowest opponent point total in the Curt Miller era, breaking the previous record of 37.
We didn't even play that well offensively, or this would have been really, really ugly.
Next up -- Buffalo on Saturday at AA. According to some players, Buffalo's fans are the meanest, most ruthless, and most vulgar fans in the MAC. Let's have a big, intimidating crowd and beat 'em by 40 Saturday.

I'd like to apologize to BGfanfromcincy for lying earlier when I said we'd win by 30.
#13 Louisville lost in 2OT to Providence (RPI in the 160's), 106-94. Providence gave up a 9 point lead down the stretch, but scored 30-ish points in the overtimes to get the win. It's UL's first loss of the year.

15 for Horne, 10 for Mann... BG shot 37% from the floor, 33% from 3pt and 69% from the line. Held Akron to 30% shooting.

You are so right. We just got back from the game and BG played their C game...maybe B-. Had we been on? Very ugly. Defensively, BG was awesome. Carin had a great night shooting and it was nice to see the freshmen I've heard so much about play quality minutes.
Great to see Bleeding Orange, Niz, Hockey Sue and a BiG turnout of Orange and Brown. Niz, that coat ROCKS! I still can't believe it was only $14!!!!
We'll be up Saturday. Hope to hit BG around 12:30 and straight to AA for the game vs Buffalo. Later, hockey. I love it.
