Akron Fans
So at the Women's game tonight in Akron there were some extremely obnoxious fans from the rediculously stupid student section they have over there. They felt it necessary (since our girls beat them so bad) to bring up the fact that they had a superior men's team and football team. We don't play in crackron until the very end of the season, but I wanted to get this idea out there while it was still fresh. Every one of us should be planning on going to that game. Imagine the look on Zippy Longstocking's face when BG rolls in with 1000 of its own fans for that game. It would be quite a momentous occasion if it were pulled off. Anyone who was there tonight knows why this should be done. Hopefully there will be some backup on this.
Yeah right girl!

Hey chucklehead, it's spelled 'ridiculously'. The google toolbar has an amazing spellchecker. Get it.
I live in Copley, so I'll be there in orange. I will round up as many BG guys as I can, and I'll force my wife to wear orange even though she didn't go to BG.
Akron is good but not great this year. We can defend their guards. If we don't get eaten up by he-man Jeremiah Wood, we'll be all right at the JAR.

It's not the same atmosphere as a packed Doyt, for sure, but still as a visitor I like it. They've got a MUCH Better scoreboard system and they actually give you stats!BleedOrange wrote:I hate the JAR. Sterile. Generic. It's the prototype for what I'd HATE to see at BG.
I also like that it's one of only a couple that allow you to sit at center court if you want. Yeah, you're up on a 2nd level, but there are actually general admission seats up there, as opposed to being stuck in a corner (UT!) or nazi's wanting you to sit in your assigned seat despite being less than half full (EMU).
But I hate that damn Kangaroo!
