BG recruiting Jeffrey Jordan...
Maybe MJ would move to BG and open a bar. Then, all of the players could go to his house and hang out since he is a player's dad and they could watch Space Jam over and over and over while lounging around in Hanes underwear eating Big Macs.

You aren't kidding about schizoid! Scout has a bunch of mid-majors listed with Northwestern being the biggest school. Rivals has the likes of Illinois, Kentucky, Okla State, not a single mid major. Wow, some one has some misinformation.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:The scouting services are schizoid on him though, and BG isn't listed by Scout or Rivals as a potential school. Who knows when they were last updated though? One has Miami(FL) as very interested.

He does. There have been stories of them meeting and talking (at big events) at least once.Globetrotter wrote:I know, but Jordan has a few other things to remember. Jordan is just lucky Dan never made it to the pros to shut him down!Warthog wrote:That would be hilarious!!! The door opens and Dan drops into a defensive stance with his hands up...
"Hi Mike.... remember me??"
Tell me Jeff wouldn't end up at BGSU if that ever happened?

Jordans son.....
Does anybody here actually think we've got a legitmate shot of gabbing Jeff Jordan? You've got to be kidding guys. It definitly is fun to spectulate and dream or imagine what it would be like if he came here, but that is probably the biggest pipe dream we could ever have. I'm frankly surprised that these Jordans sons aren't more highly rated. But I can guess with most certianly we won't be seeing them here.
But in that perfect dream world , if Jeff Jordan did come here , it certianly would bring buzz and attention to us all around like we've never seen. It would probably boost attendance substantially just on his presense alone. But again it is nice to dream. Per chance we did land him, we all know he wouldn't last under DD, thats most certainly obvious.

Could you please pick a new team to "cheer" for? Spell check wouldn't hurt either.falconboy wrote:Does anybody here actually think we've got a legitmate shot of gabbing Jeff Jordan? Because the juggernauts Davidson and UIC are sooooo much better? The kid is a 3-star recruit. He wouldn't be ther first to come here.
And why state that The kid wouldn't last under DD? Jordan is one of the hardest workers in history. Don't you think it's logical he would've passed that work ethic on to his boys? How can you use words like "certainly" and "obvious" to describe a proposition that would probably be something like 10-1 in vegas? I don't understand your perception of reality.

They could very well have very good work ethic but I'm guessing so did Isaiah Thomas but he apparently left Knight at IU cuz he could't stand the guy.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:falconboy wrote:Does anybody here actually think we've got a legitmate shot of gabbing Jeff Jordan? What? First, it's Isiah Thomas. Second what the hell does IU, Knight and Thomas have to do with Bowling Green, Jordan and DD? You're really stretching.falconboy wrote:

What does Thomas have to do with anything? Something that happened a generation ago with 2 different people in a totally different cirumstance has no bearing on this situation. There is no reason or evidence to say "Jordan wouldn't last under Dakich". Jordan is, by all accounts, a good and unselfish kid with a good head on his shoulders. Why wouldn't somebody like that want to come play for Dakich? He sounds like a perfect fit to me. Do you want to back up your wet blanket with some logic? Or are you content to just run down the hall screaming "FIRE!!!"?
All I heard from your post was "If Chewbacca was a Wookie, then you must acquit."
