Anybody lay the big bucks on the Golden Eagles and strike it rich? I can't believe the line stayed at 6.5 for as long as it did.

I had a pretty poor bowl season, and this game made up a lot of ground for me.

If the Bucks cover, I'll still hit a pretty big parlay, and come out ahead.

I ended up hitting a five team bowl parlay that I put in when the lines came out. Southern Miss was the last game on the parlay. CMU, Hawaii, S.Miss, BYU, and Rutgers. Too bad I only played it for $5 to win $127. But if it weren't for the New Years Day bowl games, I would of had a great bowl season. I limited my plays every day but that one, and it kicked me in the tail. I still finished ahead for the season though. That is always a plus.

Agreed. You'd be much better off to go out like Larry Eustachy.

The agony of Buckeye fans all around me is worth ten times any money I would've made.

Win-win baby. :)

Yours truly picked 25 out of 32 winners. I liked the way our bowl pool was done. Every Non BCS Bowl was worth 1 point while each BCS Bowl was worth 2. The BCS Title game was worth 5 points. I got every BCS Bowl correct and was one of four, out of 67 people, that picked Florida to beat OSU. Four of us earned 5 points while 63 got nada. I took some heat from all the OSU fans when the spreadsheet was sent to everyone before the bowls started. "How the hell can you pick FL????" they all screamed. Last Tuesday morning? Total vindication. They were walking on egg shells while I grinned like a fat cat that just won $325...which I did. LOL!

I was in first place, alone or tied, the whole bowl season except one night. When Miami held on to beat Nevada (I picked Nevada), I fell down to #2. But the next day, I hit 5 of 6 and returned back to 1st. I guess this dude from the lil ole MAC knew more about College ball than all the OSU Boys.  :-D

We're having a company party at Northfield Park..which for those that don't know, is a horse track in the Cleveland/Akron area. Mrs Freak thinks these guys are gonna follow me around to see what horses I pick...never been to a track in my life.
