NIU-UT

So if this game were in Toledo, I'd be there in a second. I went to UT a few years ago for the MAC championship against Marshall, so I'm not opposed to seeing a good mac game 25 miles from here. BTW, I think NIU will win this one 38-24. Jeff

I'm saying Toledo 33 NIU 30. And I guess I hope that happens too

This should be a great game. @NIU who controls their own destiny against a Tole_o team that just lost on the road. I think Tole_o wins in a shootout. I just can't see them losing two games on the road in a row. NIU has been squeeking out games week after week and now will be facing an offense that is farily good.

I agree with you, NIU has just gotten by several bad teams. Toledo is the best team they have faced in a while. I know they beat us but they haven't been to impressive otherwise. Heck WMU scored 40 points on them

We were up 49-17 on WMU. Anything after that was pretty irrelevant. We also beat CMU 42-10 and Akron 49-19. So we haven't exactly squeaked by everyone.

We've gotten complacent with big leads on the road in two games and let teams stay in games. At UCF we did everything possible to get them back into the game throwing INTs and having a 9 yard punt.

very true, you guys looked great against us and it just seems like you have played down to the competition many times this season. I don't think you can get away with it this week. Plus its wishful thinking because I want you guys to lose your last two games :P

Cannot argue on that one Dan...

While obviously I would love to see NIU lose (I'm rooting for NIU to lose cuz I won't root for UT to win in anything, anytime! ), I think the Huskies are gonna lay the wood on UT. The rockettes have been playing average, at best, the last few weeks. Losing @ Miami, squeaking by CMU at the No Class Bowl before that as well as looking like dog poop at home vs Ohio for 2 1/2 quarters. National TV and the Huskies have a major opportunity to get rid of a bitter pill...not making the MACC while at the same time beating the team that has been their achilles heel for a long time. That NIU crowd will be worked up and Novak will have them ready.

We had our chance on 9/24...I just don't see NIU losing Tuesday night. Yes NIU had close calls at UCF and BSU, but they still won and that's all that matters. Win by 1 or 51....still counts as a W.

Oh, and I think this one ends up Dogs 41, Rockettes 17. I sincerely hope I'm wrong cuz I want the MAC West title again...but....

Well, KDOG and I were right. Just what I expected. NIU chokes on the best opportunity they have ever had to win the West and put them in position for a bowl game. They could not hang with the more talented Sprockets. No way was this NIU team worthy of a top 25 slot. If you can't win a big game like this AT HOME, you should just start thinking about the 2005 season.

I have to say it..."OVERRATED"
