Favorite tailgate recipe

Post by daytonfalcon »

This is my all time favorite tailgate recipe. I make it at all BG and Browns games I attend.

BBQ pork tenderloin sandwiches:

2 whole pork tenderloins
1/2 cup brown sugar
McCormic bbq saesoning
garlic powder
paprika
pepper
bbq sauce
onions

Mix together the sugar, bbq seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper. Rub on the tenderloins, place in a ziploc and marinate overnight. Prepare the charcoal grill. Grill the tenderloins for about 45 minutes and start brushing with bbq sauce about halfway through (a nice crust will form). Grill onions along side and toast sub buns on grill. Slice the pork when done, layer on buns, top with onions and more bbq sauce. Its been a hit every time I make it. It must be good luck too because the last time I made it we beat the Bobkittens in Athens!

Too bad you weren't cooking last night. If I had seen this in time, I would have done the dish on your behalf. I'll take a crack at this though, probably tonight!
