Yep, we game 10 points closer to Duke than the #1 ranked team in the nation. The 19 point win was only the second time a team came within 20 of the Blue Devils, BG being the other. The Falcons remain Duke's closest game. Granted, the game was at Cameron Indoor, but still. The teams will play again later this season at Maryland.

Wow. This was the first time I have seen Duke this year, and man are they an impressive team! I don't care where we played them - the fact that we not only stayed within nine points of this team, but also seemed to dominate quite a bit of that game, speaks volumes about the talent/ability of our Falcons. I honestly didn't know what to make of that game until I saw this today.
Maryland just looked silly.

Indeed, guys. It was cool getting to see Duke play today and to think BG could have beaten them. I don't care what ANYONE says...BG is a Top 10 team. Period. Why not? If the #1 team in the nation got "buckeyed" like that....I love that term. Thanks ESPN!Bleeding Orange wrote:Wow. The Falcons just need to stay focused on one game at a time and not only enjoy the ride, but cherish what they've shared the last few years. This is truly a very special group.
