Cool! I was wondering why Larry Nance was there last week. Freak and I figured that he had to have a daughter that played hoops somewhere.
This would be really cool!

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan
Guys, come on. Why wudl a former NBA star like Larry Nanse send his kid to play at a small school ike our bleoved BGSU everyone knows kids like that should play at a place like Duke or UNc. Bseides that, she's going to have to gain some weight 170 is to small for someone 6-4.

Uh, did it ever occur to you that she doesn't want to move far away from home? Millions of college students have based their college decisions on that, and while its not as common among athletes, it does happen there too. Plus, we are a pretty good program in our own right, having a 43-5 record now the past two seasons, just imagine what we could do with somebody like her.

I read an article in the Beacon Journal last year about her and her dad. If I recall, he was helping coach her h.s. team or maybe it was just an AAU team he was coaching or volunteering with? That would be a tremendous "get" for the Falcons.
I want to make this very clear though, if we do get her, she must where her socks high like her papa.

Wow! This would be a great get to say the least! An athletic 6'4 big with NBA father genes is awesome! She's what a Jr. probably? This kind of athletic big could change landscape of BG basketball bigtime. Man, I'm so glad we got Curt Miller locked till '011.
Whether we get her or not it speaks huge volumes to what we have done here that she is looking at us. Not only is she 6'4 but she is the daughter of a famous NBA player. Wow for us.
Larry Nance was a tremendous pick up for the Cavaliers. He really helped push then to the upper tier of NBA teams. While the Cavaliers may have fallen short because of some guy from Chicago, I think, Larry Nance's tough d., shot blocking and consistent scoring helped put them in a position to lose to MJ every year.
If his daughter is in the same ball park as he was, as far as athletic ability, she would be a great recruit to add to the team!
Young Nance is on the radar screen of schools across the country. Whoever posted that it speaks volumes that she was in our building has it right. That is a big deal. This girl is an absolute legitmate 6'4" and can move. She certainly appeared to enjoy her evening in BG and spent a considerable amount of time with our coaches postgame and met with our players. At the same game, I counted three other All-Ohio type kids on the court postgame.
Obviously, I simply observe as that is the best (and only) policy when seeing a recruitable athlete- just look! No matter where Nance goes, we have certainly moved forward in our overall recruiting.
