Best/Worst College MB uniforms

Post by bgmaggot00 »

A post below by ItstheJourney, got me to thinking, what are the best and worst looking college marching band uniforms that you can think of? Without doing any extensive research, I've always thought that UT Austin's MB uniforms are TERRIBLE. See: http://lhb.music.utexas.edu/sights_arch ... round1.jpg

Other than that, what do you have?

Illinois and Oregon are pretty bad. I am quite fond of Georgia's though. MSU is nothing special, but its not one of the worst. If you're gonna say MSU, then you gotta put the wiggling 110 in there too because they're almost the same.

For worst, the College of Wooster has to rank. Why? They make me think of bagpipes. Bagpipes scare me. (yes, I've had bad experiences with the evil screech sacks)

WOW!

Now the question has to be asked. Are the guys wearing those kilts "traditionally?"

I really hate to be the judgemental one here, but holy crap is that a gaggle of unfortunate looking women! :(

And, on a more topically related note, I've never seen a marching band incorporate the t-shirt more poorly! :-D

No they aren't. At the 2002 Hoover high school band shower the Scotts were invited to play with us. That was one of the first questions asked by a few freshman when we had the chance to mingle with them. They were not terribly good, but they looked a lot better back then, because they didn't use those terrible t-shirts as uniforms like they do now.
