On the no so good front...WR Charles Brown visited North Carolina this weekend and will visit UConn next week. No offer yet from UNC, but it sounds like he'll switch to them if they do.
Flip, Good point on Brown....he's now listed as a "soft verbal'

Brandon should tell Coach Thig (UNC assistant coach Tommy Thigpen, former BGSU assistant and one of only two coaches retained by Butch Davis) to lay off our players.

Wonder how much of Brown's change of heart has to do with us losing our WR coach (Azzani) to CMU?

I updated the initial list. Is it accurate?

Can Ransom start early if he is coming?
A quick google search shows Coffeyville Community College is in Kansas.

Our list included Kevyn Scott from Florida. According to this he has committed to Syracuse.

Well, both are from the same guy. Sounds like he might have changed his mind and committed to Syracuse. That info is more current.

Yep...per Rivals he committed to the 'Cuse today...said he was offered by us and Akron. They have him at a hair under ***.

Scratch Charles Brown...Per Rivals, he's been offered by North Carolina and UConn. He's going to decide between those two schools.

Fallout from the departure of coach Azzani??

Recruit

Post by eRichFalcon »

Does anyone know what the word is on Ore Fatinikun, from Perrysburg. He was a QB/DB in high school, and projects as just a DB at the next level (unless we want to watch non-stop QB draws from the second coming of Freddie). The guy is one hell of an athlete who could put some pretty good hits out from the secondary and turn the corner like no one else I've seen as a runner in a high school game. I'd be glad to have him next year, that is for sure.

From what I can tell, he's talked to us, UT, Miami, Akron, and may have a shot at Mich St. or Syracuse....I don't have any reliable sources from PHS, and I was wondering if there was any buzz out there on where Ore is headed?
Finally a senior!

Welcome!

This is from another thread from a rockette fan that follows recruiting very closely:

"Ore Fatinikun has offers from Toledo, BG, Akron, and Miami University. He was hoping for something from MSU, but it isn't going to come. I believe Miami University is full at cornerback now too with their latest 3 star commit. So it is down to UT, BG, and Akron but I hear he likes UT and BG the most."
