Big Game vs. WMU

As I see it, this is a must win Wednesday against the Broncos. BG has lost 4 in a row and has quickly dropped in the MAC standings. Western Michigan is 8-10 (3-2 in the MAC). They played a tough out of conference schedule that included losses against Pitt, WV, Indiana St., Temple, and Indiana and big wins against Virginia Tech and San Diego St. Joe Reitz is a beast for them down low so we'll need a combination of Lefeld, Polk, and Marschall to slow him down. If BG can keep him in check, I see Samarco and Miller scoring 20 each and the Falcons winners 72-66. It's wood county wednesday tomorrow night, $5 tickets for everyone in the WC.

Here’s the bottom line. BG has lost SEVEN consecutive times to WMU, including three in a row at Anderson Arena. This year, WMU is 0-7 on the road. This is a game BG must win, period.

I'm hoping that even though this is a Wednesday night game, we can still get a good crowd at AA. If we don't then I'm afraid that it could mean a loss for the Falcons. But there will be an Athletic Band there which should help things. I do agree with the rest of you that this is a must win game for the Falcons.
