As the resident logo geek, this should help everyone keep the correct titles with the correct logos:

The new word mark and the new tradional logo would work together. . . because they are part of the same identity package- they were introduced at the same time and were designed to work together (another name for the "new tradional logo" was/is "athletic logo"

Fair enough. It does get confusing with the names for those logos and trying to understand which ones people are referring to. . .Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Yep -- word slip.
I don't know what it is, but I think in the field design you showed, they just don't mesh well for me.
If you don't like that first one, that just means we need to come up with some more designs for people to look at.
I know of some schools that actually allow fans to vote on designs on the school's website- I have seen it done for basketball court and football field designs. I wonder if there is any chance we'd get a shot at voicing our opinions on the designs they are considering?

I agree. I mean that spaceghost retail gay logo has grown on me. I also love the update to the old logo that is now the new traditional logo. I don't see why we can't utilize both falcon heads. I like them both.jeebus wrote:i dig the "retail" logo personally, its got more personality and looks a bit more menacing. i like the old one too, but it seems kinda 60s-esque to me

If the old one is traditional, and the new one is gay, does that mean using them both means we "go both ways"?I agree. I mean that spaceghost retail gay logo has grown on me.
