Sullivan in Wall of Shame

Post by HoopsFan »

Just heard on the radio. Something about a stolen ID/Credit card to purchase an X-Box.

Geeze, Lionel, we hardly knew ye..

Guess that spoils his chances for staying in school and coming back to the team....

Well this stinks. I already believed that he wouldn't return to the basketball team, but you hate to see kids get caught up in this sort of stuff.

Sounds like a classy guy

Off-topic: Why does the University bookstore sell freaking video games? How exactly does that help you academically? Maybe the bookstore should concentrate on selling, gee I don't know.....books?

It kills me to read this. In just a few weeks, Sullivan self-destructed. Tragic. He went from a college basketball player with potential for playing time and earning a free degree to this. I'd give anything to know what has been going through his head.

What now for him? How does this affect his ability to get admitted to another school? Would a CC or JC coach take him? How can he recover from this? It's one thing to fall out with a tough nut like DD. Stealing and betraying the trust of a friend (which could hypothetically be a teammate) is something else.

They're to busy bitching about the 5 straight losses right now.

I swear to God -- homophones are the bane of my existence. They just might be the root of all evil.

I don't recall reading anything out here blaming DD for running him off. Sullivan was the lone problem on a full roster, so personally I figured that the problem was Sullivan.
