Not sure if anyone else caught it....but if you remember Script Ohio from the Buckeye's Beating (aka the Nat'l Championship)....at one point the camera zoomed in on the larger "O"....and off to the side, but still viewable, was a hat with plume attached.

Only a band geek would have noticed it...but believe me, it was there.
Deep down, I felt bad for the poor soul who lost their hat on Nat'l TV....but at the same time, I didnt. either way, i think i laughed for at least a good 10 min.

no real rhyme or reason to this post....just remembered about it, and I havent posted in a great while!

The hat was probably knocked off by a trombone slide. I am of the understanding that there is a reasonable likelihood of that happening.

One thing you have to ive them credit for on losing the hat; the discipline the kid showed by not breaking formaton and going to pick it up is very good. So kudos to that poor sap.
