It's true, the coach does love Unger, but I personally wouldn't like to see either of them on the ice tonight... I know that won't happen, but it's a personal view that apparently is shared by a few others on the forum ;) I think it was horrible that our boys did that.... it's just not right. We don't play like that.

Blaming the refs is childish, its not like this is a 12 year old umping a little league game.

For the most part I think the refs in the CCHA do a decent job.

A 12 year old could have reffed the game better than Wilkins did last night.

The penalties out of frustration were just that, letting out frustration. Frustration with being interferred with, being hooked, with the constant interferring with Spratt. All that went uncalled. Those penalties would not have happened if the game had been called as it was played. The team played hard for two periods. Does that mean they deserve to win? No, the game is three periods. But to have all of your momentum taken away by a referree that wouldn't know a hockey game if it bit him in the ass is one of the worst ways to lose a game. A ref that plays that big of a part in a game has no reason to be on the ice. The linesmen need to step up tonight and call what he refuses.

trust me i hate most refs more than most people, but it sounds like everytime BG loses you come on here and blame the refs.I didn't see the game. Im pretty sure they would have still lost even without the suppossidly bad reffing.

Wilkins called a terrible game tonight too. Unbelievable some of the crap he called and the stuff he let go! He had a police escort out of the building, so what does that tell you? No one said a thing as he walked by, but I really wanted to yell "YOU'RE TERRIBLE....AND UGLY........." :-D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Um, not every time, and I'm not blaming him for the loss. But if you saw the games this weekend and aren't pissed off at him, then you don't know hockey.
