BG pulls away from EMU for another win!
Game was tight for a while but the Falcons were too much for the Eagles. BG wins 72-55! 33 straight MAC wins!
Listening to the game on the net, it sounded like BG had more fans at EMU.
BG was great from the FT line...25-28 today.
BG hits the road again Tuesday night for a non conference game at Chicago State.
18-2, 8-0 MAC and hopefully moving up in the polls again!!!
GO FALCONS!!!!!

BG fans....
Yeah Freak, the BG contingent sounded fairly loud on the radio. The WBGU announcers said at start of game that it looked like BG had more fans there than EMU which is a surprise. They can't get 1K for a game with the #16 ranked team in the nation?
Nice win by the ladies to end the winless streak at the Convo.
Off to Chicago for a odd non-conference game vs Chicago St. on Tues.

Great job today!! The game sounded awesome. Great job by the Falcon faithful...I wish I could have made it up there but weather and other things kept me tuned in to the radio. It was nice to hear that Ali Mann had so many fans too. Go Falcons!! Kick some butt in Chicago!!
GO FALCONS!!

We played lights out, except for the shooting. It was awesome to see Ali perform like that in front of her family. It was even better to see us shoot freethrows the way we did.
BSU, @NIU, and @ KSU are the three big hurdles left before the MAC tourney. @ NIU will probably be the toughest win to try and get.
Up next -- Chicago St. They'll be the one of the worst teams we play all year.

I'm not sure I've ever had more fun at an away game. We had so many fans there, we overpowered their fans and pep band the whole game.
We also had plenty of fun taunting Patrice (McKinney) all game. It really seemed to get to her. Tossed up quite a few bricks while we were calling her out. She didn't cry, but she sure did get worked up. Gave us a nice obnoxious smile as she walked off the court, too.
33 straight and still rolling! GO FALCONS!

It's official, we are the Pittsburgh Steelers of MAC Women's Basketball. Our fans are not only loud and crazy at home relative to the rest of the league, but we are putting lots of bodies in seats on the road too. How can any other conference team expect to beat us when we are nearly outdrawing their fans in their gyms? Certainly makes it tougher.factman wrote:Just got home from Ypsi. It was a GREAT BG crowd!!!!!We were guessing maybe 5-800 BG fans. Ali and Kate both had super games, we win by almost 20 and did NOT shoot well at all. Sign of good things to come.
vs Ball State and at Northern Illinois are the big games remaining, with at NIU the one of biggest concern. If we win in Dekalb, you can chalk up a perfect conference season once again. Some of you are holding out for that game at Kent, but Kent sucks this year and I can't see them keeping it close with us.

Ehhhhhh....chief...that game is at home. But please, keep spewing your irrational blind confidence and making the rest of us who believe in karma extremely nervous. Thanks.

I agree I put that right up there with last years Toledo game. The teams we play on the road need to stop with the cram the arena type promotions, it doesn't work when the away team is the one cramming the arenaPeregrinner wrote:I'm not sure I've ever had more fun at an away game. Yeah, like what are you talking about. We play NIU on the road on February 10, after we play Ball State at home. I don't know why you think this game is at home.theziggies wrote:BG plays at Northern Feb. 10.Bleeding Orange wrote:bgsufalcon24 wrote: If we win in Dekalb, you can chalk up a perfect conference season once again.
