Ehhhhhh....chief...that game is at home. But please, keep spewing your irrational blind confidence and making the rest of us who believe in karma extremely nervous. Thanks.
BG plays at Northern Feb. 10.
Yeah, like what are you talking about. We play NIU on the road on February 10, after we play Ball State at home. I don't know why you think this game is at home.
Excuse me. I was mixing up the BSU and NIU games. Either way, I'm sure we'll roll over them both mercilously, though, right?

We've done it against just about everybody else, why not?

In all seriousness, I think we WILL blow out Ball State, because we simply do not lose at home, ever. I see us coming out and putting them down a bunch early, just like we do to just about every team that comes into AA. Then it just becomes a matter of fending off any late 1st half or early 2nd half run they might have up their sleeve. Northern Illinois though, is a different matter altogether. They are just as good as anybody in that MAC chase pack behind us, and its a road game. We can't afford to get down in the 2nd half there, because that would give NIU the confidence necessary to spring the upset.

If I had to guess, we beat Ball State by 16, and we beat Northern Illinois by 7. All the rest of the games will likely be in the 20+ points range unless we ease off the accelerator and let teams get crap points once the game is out of reach.

I mean seriously, who in the East Division stands a chance? Ohio, Miami, and Akron have to come here, which is death. Buffalo is a road game, but they suck. That leaves Kent, who is decent but not as good as last year and certainly not on our level. So the way I see it, if we can beat NIU on February 10, we're in the clear until the MAC Championship Game.

Bottom line: The only team in the MAC that can beat Bowling Green, is Bowling Green. And we are too smart, too mentally tough, and too well coached for that to happen.

24, I agree with your premise, I simply don't agree with your bravado. Personally, I find it a dangerous assumption that can only lead to heartache. You are from the Cleveland area. You of all people should understand this...
