Jimmy Spratt

Post by falcons86 »

I don't know about everybody else, but I thought Jimmy played outstanding this weekend. I think he's getting a good feel for the college game. Way to go Jimmy! Keep it up!

I agree, he continues to work hard! I like the improvement I am seeing!!!

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

He's a truly amazing hockey player...plus he's getting more and more consistent. He's really great and a great sport altogether.

When I was down in Columbus for the OHC, you could tell that the game had finally slowed down for Jimmy. In fact, from what Andy said it looked like that at Alaska.

He took a lot of flak from us. I'll admit to this as well, because I was a big Horrell guy last year. But he's impressed me and when he's got a great D in front of him he's a top 5 guy in this league.

The key statement there is WHEN he gets great D infront of him. When was the last time BG had a great defense?

Actually the D in front of him looked pretty good on Saturday! They killed off several 5 on 3's, which were pretty impressive, too! I know this is only one game....but hey, you asked! :-D

He was playing "D". He was a mad man out there...hitting everything that moved. Causing general chaos :)

I told him after the game that he was "a man on a mission" out there and he just laughed and said, "IT WAS FUN!!" And it was FUN watching him too!!!
