Charles Sharon article

Post by UK Peregrine »

There was an article out of Jacksonville on Chuck today. Good to see he's still getting some media coverage.

Neat story!! Thanks for posting it. I love reading about BG kids with attitudes like his. What a role model for young hopefuls! Hope he can come back often to talk with our current players!

GOOD LUCK CHARLES!! You deserve all the great things that happen to you!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I love that kid. "I don't care at what level you coach," said former Palatka High coach Jim McCool. "If you have a locker room full of Charles Sharons, not only will your team be productive and win, it'll be the most fun you ever had coaching."
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

He's an awesome kid. I love this...

At 6-feet, 180 pounds, Sharon came to the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent for a measly $1,000 signing bonus.

"You know why that was a great day?" Sharon said. "Because it was $1,000 more than I had the day before."

Not only is he physically gifted, he's smart too! Go get 'em, Charles!

Thanks for posting the link.
