One of the guys on my floor is a Strong Safety for the Falcons, I won't say his name just to keep him out of trouble, you never know what can happen when you drop names. He tells me that the coaches went all out with RB recruiting this year. He also tells me tat Barnes is now strictly a WR and gets zero QB reps now. Furthermore he tells me AT and Macon are both finally back at %100 now. I didn't really know where to add this in the forum so I just threw it in here. He didn't have much to say about all the coaches leaving. He wasn't suprised at all with Stud leaving b/c we had the league's top rushing offense.
Yeah right girl!

Oorah!

I just think it's funny that a black guy with the name that includes Oreo goes to Perrysburg. That's a really insensitive race/suburbs joke and I'm just crass and insensitive enough to point it out..

Academic problems at Perrysburg? What, was he having trouble staying within the lines? :-D

But if true, I too hope he gets it straightened out. Or that it's not really true afterall.

So you're going to start with the jokes, uh. This from the kid that went to Rossford.

Glad I could start the war of the suburbs. FYI Perrysburg will win them all...

But seriously....not sure about academic problems. I think I saw a 2.8 GPA reported for him somewhere (Rivals, maybe?).... who knows how accurate those sites always are on stuff? I can't say much about him myself for sure (other than he's really friggin fast), as I've spoken to the guy once.
Finally a senior!

So rumor from my dad is that Ore got in a fight today at school. Other than that he doesn't know anything else about how he his as a student. Since he is a senior that's good, or my dad would be teaching him freshman math  Dad hasn't heard really anything about a school choice either.

You know why Perrysburg calls their teams the "Yellow Jackets", don't you?

"WASPs" would have been too obvious.

8 days until we get to see our list and we have 1 Ohio kid, no QB for a team that recruited two last year but has no surefire starter, 1-2 offensive linemen.

I would bet amongst those named to be going to BG in the next week we hear of one QB and 3 O-lineman with many from OH-IO. The rest of the numbers seem about right for what we needed. So far I would say the positives of the class would be the size on the interior of the D-Line. Also the RB position. I think we recruited DB's and LB's well last year but Geter should be a nice pickup. The WR's we have gotten are big, and I heard others here saying thats what we needed. Replacing the Kickers with Juco's was a great idea. I see the gaps as being no QB and not enough O-linemen. It is about time for another 5 blocks of granite year.

urgh. losing brown sucks...i was hoping he'd solve our qb headaches. BUT, as ive said before if brandon can stop using urban's playbook and write a new one that involves a heavy dose of running maybe we've got a chance. we have alot of talent there and nobody came down from a mountain with a stone tablet that said 'thou shalt be a passing school'
hey everyone! i'm a moron!

I beleive his point was that we should emphasize it even more.
