Needed: Big Crowds for the UT, Ball State and Senior Night
We, as fans of the program need to do all we can to ensure that the crowds for these 3 games are big and loud. Any ideas for how we can do this?

Students that are plugged into the team have to almost go door to door in the dorms to drum up more student support. Put up signs in your hall, and around the front desk. Make flyers and leave them on tables in the dining halls. Tell people that the SB preview show is stupid and it would be much more fun to watch us stomp the piss out of Toledo.
If you're a non-student fan, tell everyone you know in the area about the games, and about BG's national press. Invite people to go to the games with you. Do whatever it takes to push these crowds up. The seniors deserve as much support as humanly possible for their final home games. They've done everything in their power for the university and the program, and it's time the university and community returns the favor.
DO IT.

Roll Along!
One reason for a of you to show up for the slUT game on Sunday is a special group singing before the game and at half-time. A quartet from the BGSU Men's Chorus will be singing four part arrangements of Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba and Forward Falcons, which is something that has never been done here at BG. Other traditional school songs from the chorus like Brothers Sing on and the Alma Mater will also be sung that afternoon around Anderson Arena. I am very excited about this, as I did the arrangements for Forward Falcons and Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba. I really hope this is a success and I hope to see many of you there. Who knows, if everyone seems to appreciate this on Sunday, it might start making regular basketball appearences witha larger repertoire.
Another special not on this Sunday, Sine Nomine-the Men's Chorus' chamber ensemble will be singing their very own version of the Star Spangled Banner for the game instead of some regular student just hacking away at it.
See you all at AA on Sunday!

Would it be appropriate to post on the other forums, i.e., mens hoops, to encourage people to come out and support the team and seniors for all they have done for BGSU over the last 4 years? Don't want to step on any toes. Perhaps, if someone thinks this is OK, and they routinely post on those forums, it would be better coming from them.

I am REALLY bummed that I can't make it to this game!! We have a team dinner for the JV Hockey team at 4:30 .....and since we are one of the host parents, it would look pretty bad if we didn't show up!The Niz wrote:One reason for a of you to show up for the slUT game on Sunday is a special group singing before the game and at half-time. GO FALCONS!!
CRUSH THE rockettes!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Niz- you got me really excited about Sunday's game (not that I needed any extra help). I would love to be at the game early so I could hear all of the Men's Chorus quartets because they are amazing and I'm intrigued by these arrangements, but I am going canning for Dance Marathon from 1-4....thankfully I will be there in time for most of the game. Maybe I'll try and convince them to leave canning early to go to the game and see the Falcons crush the Rockets! The Niz wrote:One reason for a of you to show up for the slUT game on Sunday is a special group singing before the game and at half-time. I've posted a note on Facebook and invited all of my friends to the game's event profile, I posted about it on the BG Livejournal community, plugged the game 4 times on my radio show and told all of my friends in my classes about it. Hopefully that will help a little!
The problem with making flyers for the hall or making table tents for the union and stuff is that you have to get them approved by ResLife. It doesn't make it impossible, but it's an added pain in the AZZ.
I think I'll ask my friends who are RA's in the halls to make an announcement to their residents. It's a lot less hassle and just as effective.
