Watching the game now. I really wish we could land this kid. Not becuae I think he will really help the team but just becuase of the publicity the Basketball program would get because of him.
He won't come here becuase they were just talking about his potential choices nad BG wasn't one of them. oh welll

Is it safe to say that if it doesn't involve Women's Basketball you feel the need to degrade everything that comes along? Jesus Christ that gets annoying...falconboy wrote:And all of this is shocking how? Sorry, I couldn't resist.aaronBG10 wrote:Watching the game now. I really wish we could land this kid. Anyways, on to the topic, I see someone like this going to a larger school just on name recognition alone. Give Dad a front row season ticket and it helps boost your attendance and TV appearance.

They may not have mentioned BG on the TV broadcast, but this article in USA Today this morning does list BG as being on his list. The list includes Loyola (Chicago), Xavier, Valpo and Illinois State in addition to BG. Not sure which is more reliable ESPN or USA Today, so take this for what it is worth.aaronBG10 wrote:Watching the game now. I really wish we could land this kid. I want this kid to go to BG not because it would be good for BG.
I want him to go to BG because it would be good for him. I want him to have the great experiences I had. I want him to get a great education and have fun doing it. I want him to experience Mr. Spots, Myles, and DiBenedettos. I want him to have fans and be a fan of BGSU sports. I want him to have a BG family which will follow him and back him for the rest of his life.
And this goes for any kid.

Ya know, you guys should just take it easy on yourselves and ignore all that stuff. Those reports are notoriously unreliable, especially for midmajor prospects. Sit back and wait for this kid to announce. You don't need the agony.98_BG_GRAD wrote:They may not have mentioned BG on the TV broadcast, but this article in USA Today this morning does list BG as being on his list. Right, because whatever ESPN says or doesn't say is automatically true, the beacon of sports journalism it is.aaronBG10 wrote:Watching the game now. I really wish we could land this kid. I was just thinking about that the other day for some reason...Dayons_Den wrote:I did a high school broadcast in that gymnasium last basketball season. TG was nice enough to give me an escape from high school kids for a lunch at B-Dubs.
Man, that TG really is a nice guy...
