BG Ladies vs UT Sunday Anderson Arena 4 PM........
Great to see the students jumping on the Falcon women bandwagon and leaving the men hanging...oh well they will be back when the men start winning again and Miller is gone along with all of his seniors. Those of you who are only going to womens games---stay there. We don't need you at the mens' games anymore.

cowboy, get realistic. There are hundreds of fans who rarely miss a men's game or a women's game. We are FALCON fans. Criticizing folks on this board or forum over their current enthusiastic support of one of the best women's team to ever play in the MAC is ridiculous.
Predicting fan interest will cool after five super seniors graduate? Why would you post that? How about supporting the women?
I love our Falcons whether coached by Dan Dakich, Curt Miller, Denise Van De Walle or Danny Schmitz. But if you think students, townspeople and alums aren't going to get on the bandwagon with our best team right now, you are wrong. Everybody SHOULD be on this women's bball bandwagon.
Sure our women may not be as good next year. How could they? But you can bet we will work hard to stay there and get to/stay at the top.
Our men need to go to NIU and win. NIU is not good so I am sure we have a great shot. Meanwhile, our women play the second best team in the MAC. Ball State will come at us with everything and we need 2500 in Anderson again Wednesday.
Lighten up and enjoy ALL BG sports.

The ignorance of some is amazing to me. To believe that our program will fall off after Mann, Honniger and Horne graduate is dumb. To believe that Miller is here to simply ride out the success that he has had with the aforementioned triumvirate is just plain ignorant. Have you been paying attention to the underclass talent on this team, cowboyjoe? Have you been paying attention to the calibre of talent that we have coming in with the next class, cowboyjoe? No? I thought so.

It's almost unfathomable to me that a Falcon would be bitter about one team's success over another, to the point of criticizing fans for supporting a team.cowboyjoe wrote:Great to see the students jumping on the Falcon women bandwagon and leaving the men hanging...oh well they will be back when the men start winning again and Miller is gone along with all of his seniors. You should be ashamed of yourself, and you should think about re-evaluating your feelings. That's one of the most pathetic statements I've ever read on this board.

Oh boy....
Comments like cowboyjoe's make me want to...
Apparently cowboyjoe is a Hammb disciple, and it makes me sad that some fans won't give these #16 lady falcons a chance. These anti-lady b-ball freaks make me want to do this to some of them.

Hey now, Hammb doesn't like women's hoops, but he doesn't talk bad about the program, quite the contrary he's got all the respect in the world for Miller & Co.
In fact, I know he watched the second half of the game yesterday on TV!

WHAT?! YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! WE HAVE A GREAT RECORD AGAINST THE SPREAD!Jacobs4Heisman wrote:I should've known when he tried to defend Brandon by citing our record against the spread since 1996.moneymaker02 wrote:hasn't cowboyjoe already proven his idiocracy by still wanting freddie barnes at qb???? lol anything he says should be stricken from the record haha

Hmmm......really? Hopefully he will be enticed to catch a game and see Ali Mann & Co before they all graduate this year. I'd like to know if he still thinks the BG ladies are boring after that UT game on Sunday.ZiggyZoomba wrote:Hey now, Hammb doesn't like women's hoops, but he doesn't talk bad about the program, quite the contrary he's got all the respect in the world for Miller & Co.

Hey if you bet like I do, you wouldn't be making fun of our record against the spread and how rediculous is Freddie at QB? I guess the defense for Wisconsin could answer that---165 yards later with no passing threat whatsoever. I was trying to make sense of what has happened to our attendance this year for the men and I think I have finally figured it out. They are now going to watch Miller and Co. which is great but, man, I know the men could use some support, too! You need support when you are losing just as much as when you are winning. When you are losing, you find out who really is backing the program.
